If you’re in the process of deciding between a traditional home builder and a Denver green home builder, you should know that you’re facing a very important decision.  And the decision that you make will affect the three areas of your life that likely mean the most to you..  Read on, and we’ll take a look at them.

Your Resell Value

Green home builders are not just a trend, and statistics show that a person selling a green house rather than a traditionally built one will experience a much higher resell rate.  Why?  Because nowadays people understand the importance of taking care of the environment, and quite frankly, are willing to pay more for items that contribute to that cause—including custom homes.  And with the trend growing more popular as time goes on, it just may be next to impossible to sell a home in the future that hasn’t gone green. So why not do it right from the start?

The Health Of Your Family

Everyone knows about the dangers of lead paint that was used in houses decades ago, but did you know that in non-green homes, paint fumes are still a source of toxins?  Even after they have dried, they still release fumes that can be hazardous to your family’s health.  You can prevent this, and many other environmental toxins, by making sure that your new home is green.  Don’t you owe it to your family?

Environmentally Friendly

Finally, the environment has taken a beating over the past few centuries, and most people are aware that we have to make changes in order to preserve it for future generations.  One of the best ways that you can do that is by using a Denver custom home builder.  They will insure that all of the materials they use for your home are safe for the environment.  And you’ll feel better knowing that you’re doing your part.

In short, by hiring a green home builder, you’ll insure that you’re kind to the environment, your family and even your wallet.  Decisions just don’t get any easier than this!
