Besides the traditional same color on the whole wall there are other ways for painting home walls. Depending on what you want the room to say is how you choose the color and way to paint it. You might want it to be “sporty and fun”, moving and romantic”, or “sophisticated and classy. There is checkers, stripes, two-tones, or a different color painted on each wall.

The one I will discuss here will be stripes. Stripes make your room look fun, and creative. There are so many decorations you can use on the striped wall that make it look great. Maybe you want just one horizontal strip going through the whole room. You would want to put it from mid level, three quarters of the way up, or at eye level. You can add decorations, designs, or stencil some words in the stripe. You can have more options to put in with having more stripes than just the one.

You might want to go for vertical stripes. You can do the same with these as you did with the horizontal ones, or maybe between the stripes put the decorations. Try a “candy” effect and use pastels in three different colors all the way around the room. These rooms will be colorful, fun, and creative to do to your home walls.

Cloth hanging should be hung over the seating and heavy murals or pictures should be hung facing the furniture. If you want to add mirrors to your room, make sure they are hung where won’t be able to be looking at themselves all the time. That would most likely make them uncomfortable.

No matter what age, storage is always essential.Let’s talk about some home bedroom ideas for your little man.

Go with a theme from his favorite sport, character, or interests. The colors you want to use should be bold and vibrant. To increase storage and space in his room, try a loft bed or platform bed.You might also want to consider bunk beds for when he has an overnight guest. For more fun on them occasions he has a sleepover, you can make it like a tent to sleep in.

Instead of a regular bedside table use a wooden box or shelving that is open. You definitely want as much as possible off the floor with growing boys. Colorful school lockers can be cool, or use storage boxes that pull out from underneath a bed. Another cool idea is place a cushy fur rug on the floor so when playing, him and his friends will be comfortable.
